Ishnoor Dhillon

Ishnoor Dhillon is an associate at Gauthier & Mines Criminal Lawyers. She earned her law degree from the University of British Columbia’s Peter A. Allard School of Law and completed her articles at a prominent criminal defence firm in Vancouver, where she received comprehensive training and experience in the courtroom and in quasi-criminal administrative legal matters.

Ishnoor approaches each matter with diligence and compassion, ensuring that her clients understand their legal options and feel supported throughout the process. Ishnoor’s practice is grounded in preparation, attention to detail, and a commitment to protecting her clients’ rights and interests. She is committed to providing effective representation while guiding her clients through what can often be one of the most challenging periods of their lives, ensuring her clients understand important legal information clearly and comfortably.

Ishnoor was a caseworker with the UBC Innocence Project, where she conducted meticulous case analysis with the goal of identifying and overturning wrongful convictions. This experience deepened her commitment to protecting the rights of those navigating the criminal justice system and reinforced the importance of client-centred advocacy.

Ishnoor brings invaluable hands-on experience in criminal law from her time at the UBC Criminal Clinic. In addition, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Canadian Journal of Family Law and worked as a research assistant for UBC law professors in areas of law and humanities, comparative law, and prison law.

Outside of her legal practice, Ishnoor enjoys creating art and attending live music events.
